Do cold calls still have a place in modern marketing? That's what the participants in the upcoming Google+ debate hosted by the Software Advice website will be discussing this Wednesday at 1pm central. We're pretty firmly in the inbound marketing camp, but it should be interesting to see a variety of opinions on the matter. 

While the debate will focus on the effectiveness of cold calling, panelists will also discuss how inbound marketing techniques like PPC and SEO fit into the modern sales/marketing arsenal. The debate panelists include: 

• Mike Volpe, CMO at HubSpot
• Ken Krogue, President at InsideSales.com
• Anneke Seley, CEO at Reality Works Group.

Derek Singleton will be moderating, and asking each of them specific questions with time for a rebuttal. After that, viewers will get a chance to submit their own questions, and the best ones will get answered by the panel.
