We're looking for a self-starter to join our team as an account manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for putting together the pieces of a successful marketing strategy for clients, working with our team to execute it, and optimizing it for the best results.
As an account manager for Pyxis, you’ll have the opportunity to work with an exciting variety clients who are focused on growing their businesses with inbound strategies.
This role is ideal for people who like to roll up their sleeves and get things done. As an account manager, you’ll play a lead role in communicating with and educating clients and execute inbound and content marketing activities, including content development, social media, SEO, and marketing automation. You’ll also be tasked with analyzing each client’s marketing data, creating reports, and recommending future strategies and tactics.
Create the vision and lead your clients’ inbound marketing strategies
Execute your clients’ inbound marketing plans in order to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
Create monthly performance reports to highlight wins, areas of improvement, and recommendations for future programs.
Develop a keen understanding of your clients’ industries.
Be the strategic point of contact for clients and provide weekly communication updates
Guide your clients' marketing programs by empowering them with results, knowledge, content and tools
Create and run client inbound marketing playbooks
Analyze program metrics and report on key performance indicators
Identify challenges and opportunities to grow account through upsells for additional services
Contribute to client and internal content development
Become an authority on inbound marketing tactics, industry developments, and growth strategies to use for your clients’ benefit
3-5 years of meaningful marketing experience
Experience delivering marketing programs
Proven project management skills
Experience using marketing technology (analytics and marketing automation experience a plus)
Working knowledge of email marketing strategies, content strategy, SEO, paid advertising and lead generation
Well-developed written communication skills and presentation skills
Creative and strategic thinker
Relationship-building skills and client communication experience
Self starter, resourceful, excited to learn new things
